The Ki-Discus system has been designed to enable aperture/operator protection factors (and where appropriate, product protection and cross contamination factors) to be measured for Class I and Class II open-fronted microbiological safety cabinets in accordance with EN12469.

 It can also be used for special hybrid facilities such as carcinogen and radio-pharmaceutical cabinets and for general purpose laboratory fume cupboards

The hire unit is the latest all-new MK3 model for improved efficiency and productivity.

It has been designed to enable operator protection factors (and, where appropriate, product protection and cross contamination factors) to be measured for:

• Class I and Class II open-fronted microbiological safety cabinets.
• Special hybrid facilities such as carcinogen and radio-pharmaceutical cabinets.
• General purpose laboratory fume cupboards.

With no bacterial contamination risk of the containment facility.
With no bacterial contamination risk of the laboratory.

The Equipment Cabinets house all the apparatus and equipment required for the test.

The kit has been designed for one-man operation and comprises two parts  (Cabinet/Tool box) which can be separated for ease of transportation.
