DPC6 and DPC3 Indicative Particle Counters

New design ‘Indicative’ Particle Counters in stock – with either a 6 or 3 particle size measurement channel.

DPC-6 – Red/Grey

Channels – particle sizes – 0.3μm, 0.5μm, 1.0μm, 2.5μm, 5.0μm, 10μm

DPC-3 – Yellow/Grey

Channels – particle sizes – 0.3μm, 2.5μm, 10μm

The main displays on both units show μg/m³  for PM2.5 and PM10.  Pressing the ‘Mode’ button reverts to the ‘Counting’ screen which will display either the 3 or the 6 channels of particle size but in numbers of particles detected and not as a concentration.

Collected Data can be logged and then exported as a PDF or to a computer for further anal;ysis or archiving.

Both these units are very simple to use and set up.  Ideal for conducting “indicative” qualtitative checks, eg at LEV TExTs, on break-through levels from recirculating dust filters.

It will identify very effectively if there is any significant break-through occurring.

It will also provide generic indications of the levels of PM10 and PM2.5 at break-through in  μg/m³ . 

Remember you need to divide display values by 1000 to get mg/m³.   

Neither unit is suitable for ‘certificated’ calibration – but can be ‘span zero’d’ on site prior to each use.  Use as an ‘indicative’ instrument.
