P603 COURSE OVERVIEW

This P603 CoSHH PPE competence-based course follows the BOHS P603 LEV Training Course syllabus. It is designed to provide the theoretical and basic practical knowledge to enable delegates to develop, organise and implement a successful Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) programme in the workplace.

AIM

To provide participants with the skills and knowledge required to develop and implement a CoSHH PPE programme in the workplace.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

Following the P603 training course delegates should be able to:

• Understand the risk-based rationale for selection of CoSHH PPE
• Understand the basis for selection and correct use of Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE)
• Understand basic maintenance requirements for RPE.
